Potential Setback For Kentucky Running Back Josh Clemons

Clemons_web_CWNews that came out of the Kentucky football program is a possible setback for running back Josh Clemons. If you remember, he injured his knee during last year's game against South Carolina which caused him to miss the remaining games. Well he has now went under for a MRI on Tuesday to look for a potential re-injured knee that would without question sit him down. 

Clemons has been sitting out of the last 2-3 practices due to swelling in that same knee according to UK running backs coach Steve Pardue. The leading back from last years team was NOT red-shirted after the injury so Joker Phillips and staff do have the option to throw that his way if they anticipate a full recovery for a talented back as Clemons is. Here is was Pardue had to say about Clemons after yesterdays practice.

He’s ready to play mentally, “We just gotta make sure he’s back healthy.” and “We need him back as soon as we can
