Top Ten Louisville Players According to NCAA Football 2013: #7 Anthony Branch

For the second year in a row I will be counting down the Top Ten Louisville Cardinals players according to EA Sports NCAA 2013 while my Weekend Sports Buzz Co-Host Tyler Bloyd will be doing the Kentucky players. We will have our top ten list finished by the time the Cards and Cats face off at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium on September 2^nd.

The #8 rated player on the Louisville Roster is Cornerback Anthony Branch who was rated as an 83 overall.   Anthony stands 5-10 and weighs 182 lbs. Branch is a Redshirt JR from Louisville, KY and attended Dupont Manual High School.

Anthony Branch hasn’t yet recorded any statistics for the Cards yet, but EA Sports appears to have a hunch that he will see the field plenty during his RS Junior year.

An interesting tid-bit for the old-time Cards fans is his father (Tony Branch) can be seen here sitting next to Darrell Griffith. Yep he was on the 1980 National Champion Louisville Cardinals Basketball team. The older Tony Branch is currently the athletic director at Jeffersonville High School in Southern Indiana.
