Jody Demling of the CardinalAuthority.com is reporting that Louisville head coach Charlie Strong confirmed with him that sophomore wide receiver Michaelee Harris has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee.

This is now his 4th knee injury since becoming a Cardinal as he initially had a MCL injury in 2010, followed up by tearing the PCL while working out in the winter meetings. Harris did however make a speedy recovery and finally saw the action by starting all 12 games during the 2011 season before heartbreak hit again as he went down with a ACL tear in preparation of the Belk Bowl, and now this.

The ONLY positive out of this is that Louisville is very deep at the receiver position and will be able to replace Harris. With that being said, I as a Kentucky fan wish no harm on any player, even from UL so I do hope that Harris once again makes a speedy and full recovery so that he can show what he really can do and Cards fans can cheer him on.
