"50 Cent" vs Oscar De La Hoya; Who is Mayweather's Promoter going forward?

Wednesday Rapper Curtis "50 Cent" and Oscar De La Hoya got into quite a scuffle in front of the entire Universe on Twitter.

De La Hoya began (at least "50 Cent" perceived that he started it) the scuffle by tweeting:

"Everyone wanting to be a boxing promoter? Good luck. Easier said then done."

This seemingly really offended "50 Cent" as he responded with:

@oscardelahoya I don't gamble floyd do,but I bet you you won't be promoting Floyd mayweather no more. TMT PROMOTIONS

This was followed by a few more tweets from "50 Cent" including:

@oscardelahoya sweet heart I'm surprised you would respond to me and Floyd starting company the wayyou did.

@oscardelahoya girl you can call me if you want to talk. Ok

@oscardelahoya now every body wants to be a promoter girl you better stop.

Oscar replied with:

@50cent your a boxing promoter? Didn't know,but good luck maybe we can work someday. #success#nextgeneration#GBB#TMT

"50 Cent" came back with:

"Great back pedal,can you swim backwards like that to girl?lol I except that as a apology."

Is this truly a sign that the highest paid athlete in the world is now in a marriage with "50 Cent"?  Is this a good move for the man (Mayweather) many consider a "marketing genus"?
