2013 prospect Demetrius Jackson tweeted today that he had received several offers, including one from Louisville. Jackson has impressed several scouts and coaches this past weekend at the Adidas Invitational. He is a 6'1 170 lbs. point guard from Marian High School in Indiana. ESPN.com rated him the 32nd best player in the 2013 class, Scout.com ranked him the 9th best point guard in his class.

ESPN.com said of Jackson, "He has a number of positives going for him. Jackson has size, speed, strength and a diverse offensive game to augment his court vision and natural playmaking abilities. A good, not great 3-point shooter, Jackson uses his speed to create chances off the bounce."

In an interview with the Indianapolis Star Jackson said, ""I want to play basketball at the highest level and I can't do that without somebody helping me get there," he said. "I hate losing, so being able to compete and win is very important to me."  Last week it appeared that Notre Dame was the favorite, because of how close the campus is to his family. He does seem to be excited to visit Louisville in the near future. He also has offers from Butler, Illinois, Michigan State, Xavier and several other schools.
