July 11, 2012
By Jon Hancock of KentuckySports.co

The number one ranked player in the 2013 class Jabari Parker has narrowed his list to 10. His list includes (in no particular order) BYU, DePaul, Duke, Florida, Georgetown, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina and Stanford. Parker took off teams like Louisville, Illinois, UCLA and Washington. Parker is expected to make his choice sometime before the high school season starts in November.

Parker is a 6'8 215 lbs. small forward that Sports Illistrated has called one of the best prospects since Lebron James. Scout.com says of him, "Offensively he's skilled and can score in a variety of ways. He likes to attack off the dribble, can score through contact and has developed a low post game."

From Simeon Vocation School in Chicago, Illinois. He recently helped  the USA win gold at the FIBA under-17 World Championships in Lithuania.
