July 11, 2012By Jon Hancock of KentuckySports.co
Trinity's James Quick is one of the most highly recruited player in the country. The 2013 prospect has offers from teams like Alabama, Oregon and Ohio State. He is ranked the best player in the state of Kentucky by ESPN and third best wide receiver in the 2013 class by Scout.com. According to WDRB's Steve Andress, Quick says that Louisville is his top school right now.
Quick had 82 receptions for 1,434 yards and 21 touchdowns and helped Trinity win the state championship. Trinity is expected to be one of the best high school teams in the nation again this year. ESPN says of Quick, "This guy has got a chance to be very good not only as a receiver, but also as a return man. Quick has a good size and speed combination, faster than most on the field, but maybe not elite speed - is extremely quick."
