Josh Harrelson was involved in a trade that sends him to the Houston Rockets.
The Knicks will receive 38 yeard old Marcus Camby while The Rockets will get guard Toney Douglas, centers Josh Harrelson and Jerome Jordan and second-round picks in 2014 and `15.
The Knicks made the playoffs last season after posting a regular season record of 36-30 but were knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by the eventual NBA Champion Miami Heat.
New York also recently acquired an aging veteran in PG Jason Kidd. It appears the Knicks are trying to load up for a serious push at an NBA title next year with stars in Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler and now Kidd and Camby.
Josh will be re-uniting with former team-mates Patrick Patterson and Terrence Jones in Houston. The Rockets drafted Royce White, Jeremy Lamb and Terrence Jones in the NBA draft on June 28th. Houston barely missed the Western Conference Playoffs last season after finishing with a record of 34-32.
Here is the story.
