DB Jalen Battle commits to Kentucky

News broke yesterday that Kentucky had received a commitment from DB Jalen Battle.

He is a 6'3, 180lb defensive back from Fort Lauderdale, FL who is ranked as a 2-star prospect by Scout.com for the 2013 class. Battle chose UK over Illinois, Tulane, NAVY and a few other smaller schools when he called defensive backs coach Mike Cassity, who made a stop at our live remote from Iroquois Park for the Indatus 5k Run/Walk which we greatly appreciated!

This is now the 9th guy to commit to play for the Wildcats for the 2013 class and is the 8h commitment in around three weeks, which opens my eyes to things are moving fast in Lexington and in a positive direction for Joker Phillips!
