Home » Football NewsHunter Cantwell named QBs Coach at CampbellsvilleJune 28, 2012 KentuckySports.co
Former Paducah Tilghman, University of Louisville, Baltimore Ravens and the Carolina Panthers Quarterback Hunter Cantwell will be the new Quarterbacks Coach at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY which is located in Taylor County (which is about 1 hour and 40 minutes down I-65 from Louisville or it could be said that Taylor County is almost directly in the middle of the State of Kentucky). Cantwell turned down the opportunity to be a practice squad player for the Jacksonville Jaguars but instead opted to go the Coaching route. Campbellsville competes in the Mid-South Conference (NAIA) and went 7-5 last season under Head Coach Perry Thomas. Thomas inherited the Campbellsville Fighting Tiger's team in 2008 after they went 0-10 in 2007. Thomas was the defensive Coordinator at Paducah Tilghman from 2000-2007 during Cantwells time as the team's Quarterback before Cantwell walked onto the Louisville Football team and eventually became the teams starting Quarterback.
Here is the official release.
