According to Drew Deener, Stephen Van Treese will be apart of the Louisville Cardinals once again. Van Treese had decided to transfer a couple weeks ago hoping to find more playing time. Rick Pitino said he couldn't promise him 30 minutes again at UofL.

    What ever the reason for Van Treese's return it can only be beneficial for Pitino and the Cards. It give much needed depth and experience at the power forward and center position. With Montrezl Harrell being untested and with Louisville's history of injuries, having an unused scholarship would have seemed unwise for Louisville who is projected to have a phenomenal season.
