Home » Basketball NewsLouisville Basketball Recruiting UpdateJune 13, 2012 By Jon Hancock of KentuckySports.coQuintin Snider, Louisville's 2014 commit, was impressive at the Nike Elite 100 camp according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com. Daniels said of Snider's performance, "Over the past three months, Snider has proven himself as a player on the national stage. During an event in Las Vegas in April he was tremendous as a leader and point guard, but his performance then doesn't compare to what Snider, a Louisville commit, put together at the Nike Elite 100"." -2013 recruit Moses Kingsley is transferring to Hunington Prep for his senior year. Louisville's recruitment of Kingsley has died down a little in the past couple of months. Kingsley is a 6'9 center who has offers from Arkansas, Florida, Memphis, Louisville, Mississippi and several other colleges. In my opinion his transferring to Hunington Prep does not help Louisville's chances.
2013 recruit Davon Reed cut his list to 8 teams; Cincinnati, Miami, Harvard, UConn, Louisville, Memphis, Wake Forest & Xavier. Reed is continue to impress scouts and should be moving up the rankings soon. ESPN.com said about the 4-Star recruit, "Davon is another skilled perimeter player. He is a shooting guard that can also move over and play some point guard. He is long and athletic and loaded with skills. Reed is a good passer with excellent vision and creativity."
