Edgar Sosa and Francisco Garcia Selected In 2012 LNB Draft

Both former UofL basketball stars Edgar Sosa and Fransisco Garcia are preparing to help the Dominican Republic battle for a chance to make it to the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England. Today both were drafted in the LNB Draft, LNB is the Dominican Republic's top-level league.

      Edgar Sosa was selected #1 in the draft. Sosa has battled back after a horrible leg injury last summer. He is said to be the best player in the draft according to LatinBasketball.com.

         Francisco Garcia has played his entire 6 years in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings. He struggled this year with the Kings to get playing time, especially when another former Louisville Cardinal Terrence Williams joined the squad. There has been no release from the Kings that Garcia has been released.
