Home » Football NewsJames Quick Lists His Final Two: Louisville and Ohio StateApril 24, 2012 By Jon Hancock of KentuckySports.co
Charlie Strong has been recruiting several local high school players, but none more then Trinity High School wide receiver James Quick. Quick has visited Louisville several times including attending the Red/White Spring Game last week. The 2013 recruit visited the Ohio State Buckeyes this past weekend. After the visit Quick said that his two favorites are Louisville and Ohio State. So it seems that Urban Meyer and Charlie Strong will be in a battle for the young 5-Star. Louisville already has a commit from Quick's teammate Ryan White, a 4-Star corner back. James Quick also has offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Kentucky, Notre Dame, LSU, Alabama, Oregon, Tennessee and several other top colleges. ESPN.com says of Quick, "This guy has got a chance to be very good not only as a receiver, but also as a return man. Quick has a good size and speed combination, faster than most on the field, but maybe not elite speed - is extremely quick."
