Second Day Wrap-Up Of KHSAA Boys Sweet Sixteen Tournament

The second day of the Kentucky Boys Sweet 16 was as good as the first as Oldham County, Knott County Central, Scott County and John Hardin all move on tomorrow to play.


Game One: Oldham County 55, Bowling Green 48

Oldham's Tyler Wesley had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds to help lead the Colonels to a victory, he also had 2 steals and 2 blocks. Sam Gruber was 4-9 from the outside to lead Oldham in scoring with 16 points.

Bowling Green's Scooter Hollis has 14 points and 2 steals.


Game Two: Knott County Central 71, Boone County 54

Knott Central's Zach Davis and Simon Christon both led their team with 19 points a piece.

Boone Co.'s Zane McQueary had 18 points and 6 rebounds.

Game Three: Scott County 59, Marshall County 43

Scott Co.'s Isaiah Ivey led his team with 19 points, Tamron Manning had 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Marshall's Chase Clark had 13 points and 4 rebounds.


Game Four: John Hardin 49 , Johnson Central 36

John Hardin's Brandon Price had 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead his team to a win.

Johnson Central's Shane Hall had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks.


Friday's Game Schedule

Game 1 at 12pm, Rowan Co. vs. Southwestern

Game 2 at 1:30pm, Trinity vs. George Rogers Clark

Game 3 at 6:30pm, Oldham Co. vs. Knott Co. Central

Game 4 at 8:00pm, Scott Co. vs. John Hardin
