Home » Basketball NewsLouisville Vs. South Florida Preview, Senior Night and Red OutFebruary 28, 2012 By Jon Hancock of KentuckySports.coSENIOR NIGHT RED OUT Wednesday, February 29th at 7pm
The KFC Yum! Center
WHAS-11
The Louisville Cardinals will play their final home game of the season Wednesday night as they take on South Florida. The Bulls are 11-5 in Big East play, a win over South Florida would help the Cardinals seeding in the Big East Tournament. South Florida only scores 60.1 points a game and only gets 34 rebounds, but they find away to win. They are also very prone to turning the ball over, Freshman point guard Anthony Collins averages 3.4 a game and had 8 total turnovers against #2 Syracuse a few weeks ago. The Bulls play great defense and keep the pace slow. Louisville needs to play full court pressure defense and move the ball up the court quickly.
This will also be senior night, Louisville will honor Kyle Kuric, Chris Smith and Jared Swopshire before the game. Make sure to wear your red as this will also be a Red-Out game. Make sure you return to KentuckySports.Co after the game for Senior Night Pictures and post game interviews.
CAUTION: Occupy Louisville, a protest group, will be protesting around the Yum! Center before the game. This group has gotten more extreme their past couple of protests. Be sure just to walk past them and try not to let them bother you. Statistical Comparison
