Girl's Volleyball Team Repeats as Area Regular Season Champs

It could be said, that all the Kendrick Lady Volleyball team does is "win" after capturing their 3rd straight Regular Season Area Championship with a record of 8-0 and 17-3 overall.

Coach Hicks said the girls work hard and take pride in winning at everything they do. The girls will get a much deserved break as they wait for the State Playoffs to begin.

With several returning players from last year's team Hicks said, he is not worried about a let down, the girls are playing at a level that is state worthy and he does not see them letting up.

The Lady Cherokees will open the state at home with an opponet to be determined Thursday Oct 18th.
