Kenrdick Girls Roll Past Callaway

Khalia Lawrence scored 28 points, 13 of Kendrick’s 15 first-quarter points, to lead the Lady Cherokees to an easy 63-43 victory over Callaway on Tuesday night.

Kendrick’s defense helped the Cherokees turn a three-point halftime lead into a 17-point lead after three quarters. Kendrick held Callaway to four points and the defense led to easy baskets for Jasmine Merritt, who scored all five of her points in the third quarter, and Lawrence, who posted seven points in the third quarter.

The Lady Cherokees will play Heard Co in Heard Co Thursday Night at 7pm as the Region 5-AA Tournament Continues.
