B team beats Southlake tied for 1st

The Indians Freshemn B team has been on a roll. Saturday the beat Central 50-24 and then Southlake 43-40 to tie for 1st place in district. It was their 6th straight win and avenged their only district loss to the Dragons. In the first game blew the game open by allowing on 2 points in the 2nd quarter to take a 26-10 halftime lead over Central. Dylan Smith scored 10, Connor Leffel 9, Justin Harder 4, JoAnthony McGee 4. Quinn Sawai 3,  Walker wilson 3, Alec Luikens 2, Colton Lang 2, Jacob Marshall 2. Brandon Muegge 2, A.J. Hayes 2, and Omar Tanimu had 1 point. Keller won 50-24.

The 2nd game was a bit more exciting. It was back and forth as Keller led 16-10 after one, Southlake 23-20 at the half. Connor Leffel led all scorers with 16 and a HUGE three at the end to give Keller the win. Josh Cortinas had 11, Dylan Smith 9, A.J. Hayes 3, Austin Burks 2, and Colton Lang 2 points. The B team is now 13-5 on the year, 8-1 in district play.
