INDIANS ARE DISTRICT CHAMPS!!

The Keller Indians finished off the regular season with a 53-34 win over the Central Chargers on Tuesday night. The win allowed Keller to win it's first district championship since 1999, and the schools first in boys basketball at the 5A level. Keller improves to 22-10 on the year and finished district 12-2 tied with Richland, but took first based on the sweeping the Rebels in their two meetings this year. Keller jumped to a 17-9 lead after one quarter, but allowed Central to pull within 5 at the half. Keller won the 3rd 15-6 and the 4th 13-8, as Keller only missd one shoy from the field in the 2nd half.  Blake Stewart had a season high 16 points and 5 rebounds, Austyn Kennedy had 15, Nolan Taylor 11 pts. 7 rebounds, Mike Opolski 8 points, 9 assists and 4 rebounds, Alec Ingraham 2 pts. and Trevor Stafford 1 point.

The Indians play their 1st round playoff game vs. Arlington Lamar on Tuesday, Feb. 19th at Grapevine High school at 7:30. So come out and Support your local Indians!!
