Lady Patriots whip Jonesboro Hodge 15-0...advance in playoffs.

It took four times as long for Jonesboro Hodge to get to River Ridge than the game took to play.  The Lady Patriots disposed of the Lady Trojans 15-0 in the 2 1/2 inning, 45 minute contest.  Behind strong pitching from Katie Brignac and a powerful offensive display, the Lady Patriots advance in the 2A LHSAA state playoffs.  They face the winner between Rosepine and Sacred Heart (Ville Platte) for the right to advance to the state tournament in Sulpher.  The Lady Patriots' next game will probably be Friday, but won't know for sure until today's game between Rosepine and Sacred Heart is completed.
