Home » Track & Field NewsBoys' Track Finished 5thMay 25, 2012 By Tyler Trich of Jeffersonville High SchoolThe boys’ track team finished 5th of 38 teams at last night’s Bloomington Regional Championship Meet qualifying for the state finals in 3 events.
The 400 relay team of Austin Hines, Chase Scott, Isaiah Mack, and Tyrell Dowdell won. All of these young men will go to state.
Tyrell Dowdell also qualified in the 400 meter dash finishing second and Chase Scott qualified in the long jump.
Others scoring for the Devils were:
Daquan Foster who finished 4th in the high hurdles missing state by only .02 seconds.
Derius Phillips 7th in the highs.
TJ Kimbrell 7th in the 800 meter run
TJ Kimbrell, Tyrell Dowdell, Chris Taylor, and Brad Pavey 8th in the 3200 relay
Tyler Kahl 7th in the long jump
All of these young men and the rest of the team have had a very good season and should be congratulated on their hard work and success.
