Blue Jay Wrestlers Defeat Carrington

The Jamestown Blue Jay Wrestlers defeated the Carrington Cardinals by a score of 36-30 in Jamestown High School's Jerry Meyer Arena on Thursday night. Despite forfeiting 3 weight classes the Blue Jays still managed to come out on top. A few highlights for the Blue Jays consisted of 152 pounder Zane Braun staying undefeated on the season at 15-0 and pins by Eathan Gumke (170), Reece Waldie (182), Jacob Mader (285), and Paxton Mewes decision to end the night at 113 pounds.

Next action for the Blue Jays is Saturday, December 17th when they travel to the Valley City Hi-Liner Invitational.
