Blue Jay Volleyball Ends Season

Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Volleyball failed to qualify for state at the West Region Volleyball Tournament held in Minot, ND on November 9-11. Coming into the tournament as the #3 seed they lost their opening round match to #6 seed Mandan 3-2 (23-25, 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 13-15)

In loser out play on Friday the #3 Blue Jays lost to the #7 seeded Williston Coyotes 3-0 (15-25, 18-25, 23-25). Despite the losses the Blue Jays were able to place two athletes on the All-Tournament team: Sophomore McKayla Orr and Senior Katie Ramlo were selected for this honor.

The NDHSAA State Tournament will take place in Fargo at the FargoDome on November 16-18th. Representing the WDA/West Region will be #1-Bismarck Century, #2-Dickinson, #3-Bismarck, #4-Minot.
