Jays Place 8th @ Southwest Minnesota Challenge

The Jamestown High School Volleyball team had a tough go of things on Day 2 of the Southwest Minnesota Volleyball Challenge in Marshall, MN on Saturday.

After going 2-0 on Friday, Saturday's losses to Chaska, MN, Marshall, MN and Minneota, MN put the Jays in 8th place in the 32 team field.  Lakeville North was eventually crowned Champion with their win over Wayzata.  Hopkins finished the tournament in 3rd Place by defeating Chaska who had beaten the Blue Jay's earlier in the day.

*Next action for the Blue Jay Volleyball team is Tuesday night at Jamestown High School's Jerry Meyer Arena where the ladies will host the Demons from Bismarck High.  Match time is set for 7:00 PM

Marshall MN defeated JHS 25-16, 25-21

Minneota MN defeated JHS  29-31, 25-15, 15-10
