Home » Athletic Department NewsJHS Athletic Awards AnnouncedMay 16, 2012 Jamestown Senior High SchoolThe Jamestown High School Athletic Department has announced it's senior award recipients for the 2011-2012 school year. Recipients of the the Connie Lange & Jerry Knobel Most Conscientious Senior Male Athlete are Mercedes Westereng & Danny Fischer. The Jerry Knobel Award presented annually on behalf of the JHS Class of 1947 is presented to a senior male athlete voted by his peers tp be the most conscientious senior male athlete at Jamestown High School. The Connie Lange Award is presented annually on behalf of the JHS Class of 1967 is presented to a senior female athlete voted by her peers to be the most conscientious senior female athlete at Jamestown High School. Three athletes have also been named as recipients of the Blue Jay Award (12 Seasons). Recipients of this award have participated in Blue Jay Athletics fall, winter & spring from their 9th grade through senior year of high school. 2012 Recipients are: Brady Anderson, Danny Fischer, Jacob Nieland.
