Blue Jay Boys Finish 9th @ State Meet

Blue Jay Boys Swimming & Diving Finished their season Saturday at the North Dakota Boys Swimming & Diving Championships in Mandan. Jamestown senior Willy Marler finished his career with a 2nd place in the 100 Freestyle and a 3rd Place finish in the 50 Freestyle.

Colt Rasmussen won the consolation heat of the 500 Freestyle putting him in 9th place as well as finishing in 10th place in the 200 Freestyle. The divers had a good day as well placing 3 in the top 15. Hunter Munson finished in 7th place with a total of 348.45, also Riley Thom finished in 12th and Brett Goehner finished in 14th.

Other Blue Jay performances to note were Hunter Boehm placing 14th in the 50 Freestyle, Braydon Love finishing 16th in the 200 Freestyle. The Blue Jays finished the meet with a total of 137 good enough for a 9th place team finish. Fargo North & West Fargo tied for the team title with 286 points a piece.

Jamestown All-State Performers: 1st Team All-State: Willy Marler; 2nd Team All-State: Colt Rasmussen.
