Home » Culinary Arts NewsAXED AppetizersDecember 7, 2011 By Jennifer Garcia of Diboll High School9 teams competed today in the appetizers portion of the AXED competition at the High School. As of now, the race is still very close with only 3.5 points seperating 1-3 places. Students worked very hard and completed some pretty tasty, impressive dishes with the mystery ingredients. Students were to use ALL of the ingredients. They could add additional food items, but they could not take away from the mandatory ingredients: Jalapeno peppers, Ramen Noodles, Sausage, Rice, Turkey Lunch Meat Please feel free to come and watch them as they continue to compete the remainder of the week. Thursday they will be making their entrees and Friday they will conclude the competition with desserts. Thanks for your continued support!
