2nd Annual 6th Grade Flag Football Tournament

The Diboll Lumberjack 6^th graders participated in the 2^nd annual flag football contest held last night at Lumberjack Stadium.  This event gave the athletes a chance to know what it feels like to play under the big lights and with parents watching.  There were 6 teams with 10 players on each team.  There were a lot of big plays that wowed the crowd and I can see this group being really competitive in the future. Everyone did a great job and the fans got to see some action from these future Lumberjacks.  The Eagles ended up winning the championship, defeating the Saints.  Thanks to all the coaches for their hard work, and to all those who came out and supported the pre-athletic students.
