2013 Track Season Begins...

I’m A Winner Athletic Foundation (IAWAF) launches a successful Track season attending the Texas A&M Invitational January 5^th in College Station, TX and the Carl Lewis/UH Invitational January 19^th in Houston, TX. Finest Smith represented IAWAF with great performance times.  Smith is a student at Elsik High School in the top 10% of her class, AP student and diagnosed as gifted.  Smith runs for Elsik High School and won 1^st and 2^nd place district in JV 100 and 300 meter hurdles and won National Junior Olympic USA Track & Field competitions in 2007 – 2010. 

Smith has prepared for the 2013 track season by training with Olympic Hurdler Eric Thomas and Rice University Coach Casey Thom.  IAWAF expects Smith’s times to greatly improve this season catapulting her back to being one of the best track and field athletes in the nation.  Her father, New England Patriots Super Bowl Champion and NFL Running Back,  says “Finest has to decrease her time and prove she can compete with the best.”
