IU East junior setter Lauren Crump was named the KIAC Volleyball Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Crump ranked 1st in NAIA assists per game (11.78) and 2nd in NAIA Total Assists (1,625). She was named the KIAC player of the week on September 26.
IU East head coach Charlie Brown was named the KIAC Volleyball Coach of the Year. This is his second coach of the year award in the last three seasons. IU East finished the regular season 14-1 in conference play which earned them a share of the regular season championship. They entered the conference tournament as the #2 seed and defeated Asbury 28-26, 27-25, 25-19 to win their third consecutive conference tournament.
