RED WOLVES BOUNCED IN FIRST ROUND

CINCINNATI, OHIO — The Indiana University East men's basketball season ended with a 96-78 loss at Cincinnati Christian University on Feb. 25 in the quarterfinals of the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament.
The Red Wolves, who were the No. 7 seed for the eight-team tournament, finished 11-20. The Eagles, the No. 2 seed, improved to 18-13.
IU East trailed by just two at the half, but the Eagles shot 77 percent (20 of 26) in the final 20 minutes to blow the game open. CCU led by as much as 20 in the second half. IU East would get no closer than 11 in the final 10 minutes.
Junior guard Tyler Fangman led IU East with 20 points. Sophomore guard Vasha Davis added 18.
Mike Hill had 25 points for CCU.
