VOLLEYALL TEAMS WINS 200TH IN HISTORY

MARION, Ohio - The Indiana University East volleyball team recorded the 200th win in
the program's NAIA history with a pair of four-set victories on Sept. 13 on the
first day of the Ohio State Marion tournament.
The Red Wolves (14-4) opened the day with a 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 25-21 win against
Concordia University (5-7).
IU East picked up the program's 200th NAIA win with with a 25-14, 24-26, 25-23,
25-16 win against previously unbeaten University of Cincinnati Clermont (7-1).
IU East is now 200-53 in six-plus NAIA seasons.
"A huge accomplishment for IU East," said junior defensive specialist Cinder Weber
(Muncie, Ind./Wapahani High School), who has been a part of 95 of those wins. "We've
come really far in six years and we're still rising to the occasion.
"We'll continue to better ourselves so we can get to 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and more."
Freshman middle hitter Sarah Gambrall (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian High
School) led IU East with 30 kills on the day. Gambrall had a career-high 17 kills
against Cincinnati Clermont.
Junior setter Lindsay Kurz (Indianapolis, Ind./Lutheran High School) piled up 87
assists and seven Wetzel Family Auto Cruise aces. Kurz matched her career best with
six aces against Cincinnati Clermont.
Senior libero Meagan Stoker (Celina, Ohio/Celina High School) made 42 digs on the
day. Sophomore outside hitter Mallory Livingston made a career-high 20 digs against

East plays Clark State Community College at 8 a.m. and then plays Ohio State Marion
at 10 a.m.
