RICHMOND, Ind. - Marcus Isaac scored a career-high 36 points to lift the Indiana
University East men's basketball team to an 86-51 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference win against Saint Louis College of Pharmacy on Feb. 1 at the Richmond
High School Tiernan Center.
IU East improved to 16-8 overall and 6-3 in the KIAC. Saint Louis College of
Pharmacy is 6-11 overall and 0-5 in the KIAC.
Isaac (Indianapolis, Ind./Purdue University North Central), a senior guard, made 12
of his 16 field goal attempts and 9 of 13 3-pointers. He scored 26 of his points in
the first half, including a stretch of five consecutive made 3-pointers.
The Red Wolves opened the second half with an 11-0 run to break the game open. IU
East led by as much as 41 in the second half.
"The good thing about tonight is that we responded to what we talked about at
halftime during the second half," said IU East coach Mark Hester.
Gozie Uzendu led the Eutectics with 18 points.
IU East hosts Point Park University on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Richmond High School
Tiernan Center. Fans who arrive by tipoff wearing an IU East shirt will receive free
pizza during the game. The Indy Air Bears jump rope team will perform at halftime.
