RICHMOND, Ind. - The Indiana University East men's basketball team celebrated
Homecoming with a 107-79 win against Indiana University Kokomo on Nov. 16 in the
Richmond High School Tiernan Center.
The NAIA Division II No. 22 Red Wolves improved to 4-1. The Cougars, a first-year
NAIA program, are 3-3.
"It was a regular game, but there was a little more motivation," said sophomore
guard Huston Clark (Kokomo, Ind./Kokomo High School), who secured offseason bragging
rights with 17 points and 13 rebounds against his hometown IU campus.
IU East improved to 6-0 in Homecoming weekend games since joining the NAIA.
Sophomore guard Tyler Fangman (Cold Spring, Ky./Beechwood High School) and sophomore
forward Brandon Muncie (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North High School) also scored
17 points. It was Muncie's career high.
Freshman guard Vasha Davis (Hammond, Ind./Morton High School) added a career-best 14
points.
Nathaniel Carroll led IU Kokomo with 11 points.
IU East goes shopping for a Black Friday win on Nov. 23 with a game against Bryan
College on the opening day of the Tennessee Wesleyan College Dwain Farmer Classic.
