IU EAST'S STRETE NAMED KIAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Indiana University East senior middle hitter Breezy Strete (Troy, Ohio/Troy High
School) is the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the
Week, the league announced Nov. 12.
Strete totaled 47 kills on a .506 hitting percentage as IU East won its fourth
consecutive KIAC tournament title this past weekend.
Strete also became the first IU East volleyball player with 2,000 career kills.
Strete now has 2,007 career kills.
Strete has won the KIAC Volleyball Player of the Week honor seven times in her career.
IU East (43-3) is ranked 12th in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches Poll. The Red
Wolves will host an NAIA National Championship Opening Round match against Bryan
College on Nov. 17 at the Richmond High School Tiernan Center.
