VOLLEYBALL
The Indiana University East volleyball team is 15th in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball
coaches poll released Oct. 23.
The Red Wolves (33-2), who lead the nation in total wins, rose a poll-best three
spots after a 4-0 weekend that included a win against then-No. 27 University of
Northwestern Ohio.
It's the best national ranking in the IU East volleyball program's NAIA history. The
Red Wolves' No. 17 ranking two weeks ago was the program's previous best.
Reigning national champion Texas at Brownsville remained the No. 1 team in the poll.
The Red Wolves host Asbury University in the annual Pink Out match in recognition of
Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at Seton Catholic High School.
