RICHMOND, Ind. - Two Indiana University East athletes earned Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference athlete of the week honors in their respective sports, the league announced Sept. 3.

Red Wolves sophomore Seth Prince (Albany, Ind./Delta High School) is the the KIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

IU East sophomore Emily Underwood (Milton, Ind./Lincoln High School) is the KIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Prince won the Asbury University Chick-fil-A Invitational with an IU East 5K school record time of 17:49 on Aug. 30.

Prince and the Red Wolves run again Sept. 8 at the Grace College Lancer Cross Country Invitational.

Underwood won in three sets at No. 3 singles for IU East's only point in an 8-1 loss against the University of Saint Francis on Aug. 23.

IU East hosts Manchester College on Sept. 5.

Prince won the KIAC's weekly cross country honor for the first time. He won the KIAC Track and Field Runner of the Week award twice last spring.

Underwood won the KIAC's weekly tennis award for the second time.
