Home » Volleyball NewsRed Wolves ranked 25thAugust 15, 2012 IU EAST BROADCAST SPORTSThe Indiana University East volleyball team is 25th in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 poll, the highest preseason ranking for IU East. The Red Wolves were 29th in the 2011 postseason poll. IU East is coming off of a 37-9 season capped by the program's third consecutive trip to the NAIA Volleyball National Championship. Reigning national champion Texas at Brownsville was the No. 1 selection. Two of IU East’s Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents received votes in the preseason poll. KIAC newcomer Point Park is 32nd. Asbury, which shared the 2011 KIAC regular season title with IU East is 40th IU East opens the 2012 season with the IU East RadioTroy.com Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Richmond High School Tiernan Center.
