Irving High has two full time certified/licensed athletic trainers on staff who provide sports medicine services to Irving High Athletes. This includes prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Approximately fifteen Irving High Students are in the student athletic trainer program at Irving High. They assist the professional staff and develop skills and knowledge to pursue athletic training as a profession. Several student athletic trainers have gone on to participate in athletic training programs at the university level.
