Doubles proved to be just as good as as the singles with the team of Kristen Collier and Chelsea Carr beating Shannon Schorable and Katlyn Haynes 6-1 6-0 at one, and Collin Partain and Cecily Reees posting the third shutout for the lady Huskies at two over Kaley Guenthener and Angela Dining.
The boys were also very decisive in their triumph over Veterans. Playing number, Everett Reese defeated Cody Norris 6-0 6-2. At number two Sam McWorther, posted a shut out 6-0 6-0 over Austin Skinner. Alex Sneed rolled through his first set 6-2 but faced a little bit more a challenge in the second, however he ended up the set and the 6-2 7-6 at three against Mark Dinney. The number one doubles pairing of Stewart Eberhardt and John MacNeil came out with an impressive 6-1 6-0 win against the Veteran's duo of Josh Grahamn and will Mickaleius. The number two team of Justin Harvell and Jessie Shearer dropped the first 6-3 to Brandon Rockwell and Clint Rogers, but turned around to win the second set 6-1, and captured the match in the third set with a score of 6-3.
The boys now move to 6-0 and continue to lead the region. The girls are now 5-1 and place second in the region. Both teams play Friday at four, vs. Peach county at John Drew, to complete their three matches in four weeks.
