The Geometry team placed 1st overall, edging out rival Vestavia Hills by a score of 896-888. Uzma Nur tied for 1st place individually with a score of 230. Zheye Zhang tied for 3rd place individually with a score of 227, Daniel Phillips placed 6th individually with a 222, and Connor Jones and Joon Shin tied for 9th place individually with 217, rounding out the top 10. Juhee Agrawal was also recognized with a 24th place individual finish with a 182. The Algebra 2 team placed 2nd overall to Vestavia Hills by about 150 points, but also beat the 3rd place team, Spain Park, by about 100 points. Danny Johns was our lone top 10 finisher, placing 7th individually with a score of 207. Other students recognized were Abhay Thottassery, who tied for 13th place individually with a 191; Marshall Strickland, who placed 16th individually with a 184; Richard Chen, who placed 18th individually with a 182; and Ishant Yadav and Isaac Eggers, who tied for 26th place individually with a score of 159. The Comprehensive team placed 2nd overall also, this time to ASFA by 50 points, but they also edged out Vestavia Hills by a 7-point margin. Xianming Li placed 2nd individually with a score of 240, and Abdullah Tarawneh tied for 10th place individually with a score of 218, rounding out the top 10. Other students recognized were Dong Kim, who tied for 12th place individually with a 217; Jacob Varner, who tied for 14th place individually with a 215; Sunny Thodupunuri, who tied for 24th place individually with a 207; and Eric Kim, who placed 26th individually with a 206.
