STEM Camp 2013 @ Jeff State Community College Students entering the 10th-12th grades who are interested in a career in science, technology, engineering or math can apply to attend a FREE 5-day camp June 17-21. Camp participants should enjoy hands-on learning, desire a career in high-tech, automation and be recommended by a counselor or math/science teacher. Applications and more info can be obtained from Jill Westerlund (jwesterlund@hoover.k12.al.us) in Hoover office B122, online at www.jeffstateonline.com or by calling 205-856-7848. Deadline for application packets is April 15, 2013. This program is funded through a grant from the National Science Foundation, and students completing the camp will earn a $100 stipend.
