Purdue's south end zone scores big with fans

When the sun peeked through the clouds at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, hundreds of Purdue University football fans already were flocking to Ross-Ade Stadium's south end zone.
Less than two hours later, those still lingering on the new tailgate patio saw tight end Justin Sinz score the Boilermakers' first touchdown of the season right in front of them.
The athletic department's plan to upgrade the fan experience earned instant positive reviews.
