Changing The Schedule
-The Boilermakers added a meet for this weekend.
-The men’s and women’s teams will travel to Lexington, Ky., for the Kentucky Relays.
-The meet is on Saturday and is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET.
Top 25 Marks
-The Boilermakers currently have 10 marks that rank in the top 25 in the country for this season.
-Raheem Mostert has the 17th-fastest 100m dash time.
-Matthew McClintock has the 24th-fastest 10k time.
-Brandon Winters has the 13th-fastest 110m hurdles time.
-Jake Waterman has the eighth-fastest 3,000m steeplechase time.
-Blair Doney has the 15th-fastest 3,000m steeplechase time on the women’s side.
-Nikki Nunn has the 15th-best long jump on the year.
-Coy Blair has the 15th-best shot put throw this season.
-Enekwechi has the ninth-best hammer throw and 17th-best shot put distance.
-Dani Bunch has the 10th-best women’s shot put throw this year.

-Despite running in just one outdoor meet this year, Mostert has the best 100m dash time in the conference.

-Harris also has the fourth-best 200m time in the conference.
-Andrew Kendrick has the sixth-best 400m dash time.
-Aarin Jones has the women’s fourth-best 400m dash time.
-Taylor Dunlap has the women’s ninth-best 400m dash time.
-Kevin Griffith has the ninth-fastest 800m run time.
-Kari Shoolbraid has the Big Ten’s best 800m time in the conference this year.
-Katie Hoevet has the ninth-best 1,500m time this year.
-Caleb Kerr has the 10th-best 5k time in the conference.

(throws), Autumn Heath, Liberty Township, Ohio (sprints), Abigail Hostetler, Freemont, Ind. (distance), Elizabeth Iversen, Martinsville, Ind. (throws), Sarah Loesch, Columbus, Ind. (throws), Savannah Roberson, Ypsilanti, Mich. (sprints) and Brionna Thomas, Ft. Wayne, Ind. (sprints).
-The men are: David Dalton, Greenwood, Ind. (distance), Timothy Deal, Mishawaka, Ind. (hurdles/multi), Matthew Garrison, Bedford, Ind. (jumps), Luke Lewis, Hermitage, Pa., (throws), Miles Poullard, Pomona, Calif. (jumps), Kinard Rolle, Nassau, Bahamans (sprints) and Justin Veteto, Greenwood, Ind. (hurdles).

Nigerian Record Holder
-Chukwuebuka Enekwechi broke the Nigerian hammer throw record at the USC Trojan Invite.
-The record had stood for 28 years.
-He threw 67.31m (220-10) to break the previous record of 66.92m (219-7).
-Enekwechi’s mark has to be officially verified, though the process is well underway.
-Enekwechi had practiced the hammer only three days this year, prior to throwing the mark.
-The mark is also the third-best in Purdue history.
Big Ten Weekly Awards
-Purdue swept the first outdoor conference awards of the season.
-Coy Blair was the men’s field athlete of the week, his first career award.
-Andrew Kendrick earned the men’s track athlete of the week, his first career award and the program’s first since 2009.
-Aarin Jones was named the Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week on the women’s side, her first award and the program’s first award since it was split into track and field honors. The last Purdue female track athlete to win an outdoor award was in 1999.
-Nikki Nunn picked up her second career Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week honor.
New Video Board
-Fans will have the opportunity to see an upgraded feature in the southeast corner of Rankin Track and Field.
-The program had a new, high quality video board installed during the offseason.
Two Sport Stars
-Raheem Mostert, Anthony Brown, Shane Mikesky and Langston Newton all compete in the football in the fall.
-The four athletes recently wrapped up spring football and will be back on the track for the rest of the season.
