INDIANAPOLIS (Friday, April 11, 2014) – Tickets for Indy Eleven Professional Soccer’s Inaugural Game on Saturday, April 12, are officially off the market, as the North American Soccer League expansion side has announced tomorrow night’s 7:30 p.m. ET contest against the Carolina RailHawks is sold out.
Today’s announcement guarantees that a capacity crowd of more than 11,000 fans will pack IUPUI’s Michael A. Carroll Stadium tomorrow night. Fans that missed out on tickets for Saturday’s match can catch all the action live across Central Indiana on MyIndy-TV 23 and worldwide via ESPN3.
Will Call at Carroll Stadium (West Gate) will open at 3:00 p.m. Saturday to accommodate the large amount of fans picking up tickets.
“The demand for Inaugural Game tickets is another example of how excited people across Indiana are for Indy Eleven to take the field,” said Indy Eleven President/General Manager Peter Wilt. “Saturday will mark the start of a new era for soccer in Indiana, and we look forward to rewarding our fans with a memorable experience tomorrow night.”
The good news for soccer fans that were unable to get tickets for tomorrow’s match is that seats for the team’s April 19 matchup against the Tampa Bay Rowdies are still available. Single game tickets for Indy Eleven’s remaining 13 NASL regular season games can be purchased for $10-$30 in general seating sections and $40-$100 in premium seating areas (plus fees). Please note that single game ticket purchases will be limited to 14 per order. Fans looking to purchase 15 seats or more are asked to call 317-685-1100 to secure the discounted group rate.
Indy Eleven will kick off its inaugural season in the North American Soccer League (NASL) on April 12, 2014, against the Carolina RailHawks and will play its home contests at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on the campus of IUPUI in downtown Indianapolis. Born Indy Pro Soccer after launching as the 11th member of the North American Soccer League on January 16, 2013, Indy Eleven established its identity 99 days later on the 152nd anniversary of the establishment of the 11th Indiana Regiment during the Civil War on April 25, 1861.
