IPFW BASKETBALL RELEASE

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – IPFW Athletic Director Kelley Hartley Hutton has announced that head men's basketball coach Tony Jasick has resigned his position to take a similar post at Jacksonville University.

"This announcement comes with mixed emotions," said Jasick. "I'm extremely excited about the opportunity in front of me and my family, but also realize that we are leaving a great place and great friends. Fort Wayne has become our home and will always be a special place to us. I want to thank everyone for their support and friendship over the last nine years."

Jasick spent three years as head coach at IPFW, and compiled a 52-47 career record with the Mastodons, guiding the team to a 25-11 record in 2013-14 and a berth into the CIT Postseason Tournament.

"We wish Coach Jasick the very best and feel much gratitude for what he accomplished at IPFW," said Hartley Hutton. "His work and leadership resulted in remarkable momentum for IPFW men's basketball and our entire athletic department. We are committed to moving forward to provide a smooth transition for our student-athletes and a men's basketball program with a bright future."
