Most Improved Players: College basketball edition

It isn't easy for a college basketball player to become a prominent member of the rotation this late into the season. Roles that are established in preseason practice don't often change.

But a few players on Indiana teams have had breakthroughs. Seven players have conference-play scoring averages that are more than one point higher than their overall average.

Andrew Chrabascz, Butler, 6-7, freshman

Overall averages: 6.2 points, 54.1 percent field goal shooting, 17 total steals
