The Eagles own wins over traditional mid-major powers, Robert Morris and Cleveland State, and their only losses have come to nationally-ranked foes Kentucky (81-63) and Massachusetts (69-57), a game in which EMU led the Minutemen at halftime.

-- Junior forward Karrington Ward leads Eastern Michigan in both scoring (15.3 ppg) and rebounding (5.9 rpg). He is shooting 49.2 percent from the field, including 9-of-20 (.450) from three-point range and 36-of-45 (.800) from the free throw line.
