GBB: Fans to get vote for 2013 Miss Basketball, Indiana All-Stars

March 5, 2013
By E. Shawn Aylsworth of Hoosier Authority

From Charlie Hall
Indiana All-Star Games Director

In conjunction with the 75th year of the Indiana All-Stars, game organizers are offering fans a chance to vote for whom they think should be 2013 Miss Basketball.

Traditionally, high school coaches and media members from across Indiana have the opportunity to vote for Miss Basketball. This year, that process will be supplemented with the winner of the fan vote receiving one extra vote.

But in online voting that runs Feb. 26 through March 7 for 2013 Miss Basketball, the winner of each fan vote will be credited with one additional vote in the official balloting for the awards.

Later in March, a similar fan balloting will occur for 2013 Mr. Basketball.

This year's All-Star games against Kentucky will be June 14 in Louisville and June 15 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
